Tucked inside the historic Mill at Riverside, Maxwell Studio lives in one of the mill’s few untouched spaces, with hundred-year-old wooden floors and vintage charm.
When Ansley and her fiancé, Ricardo, found the space, it needed a lot of love. For two months (and with lots of help from family), they worked to transform it, sanding, painting, designing, and building it into the lovely studio it is today.
Members describe Maxwell Studio as warm, calm, peaceful, and an oasis. With the river and a coffee shop just around the corner, it’s a relaxing place to make pottery, meet wonderful people, and lose track of time.
MAX
Max loved being wherever his mom was, and quite often, that meant spending the day at a pottery studio.
After greeting everyone, searching for a few crumbs, and spinning excited little circles, he would settle beside his mom as she glazed her pieces, keeping her company.
Max may not be here to sit beside us anymore, but he is still very much a part of our story.
